Can I change my Password ?
Yes, you can change your password at any time., Simply go to the Login & Security section in your account settings
- Click on “Update Password,” and a new screen will appear where you can fill in the required information.
- Enter your current password first, then enter your new password and confirm the new password. Click on “Update,” and your password will be successfully updated.
Note:
- The password must be at least 8 characters long, include at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one digit, and one special character (! @ # $ & ? _ *), and must not contain any spaces.
- Password updates are only applicable to users who signed up manually and are not available to users who signed in using Google or Facebook.
What is Two-Factor Authorization (2FA) ?
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is an additional security measure that adds a layer of protection to your account by requiring two forms of verification to confirm your identity. It combines your password with a one-time code sent to your authentication app. This dual verification process enhances account security, making it significantly harder for unauthorized individuals to gain access.
How to Enable 2FA ?
- Navigate to the Login & Security section in your account settings.
- Click on Enable 2FA button.
- Scan the QR code displayed on the screen using a trusted authentication app like Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authy, etc.
- Enter the verification code generated by the authenticator app to complete the setup process.
- Once set up, Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your account by requiring a second verification step during login.
How to Disable 2FA ?
- Navigate to the Login & Security section in your account settings.
- click on Disable 2FA button.
- You may be prompted to enter your current 2FA code to confirm your request.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to finalize the process.
Note: Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) can be enabled for all types of signed-up users, regardless of the registration method.
What is Passkey Login ?
- A passkey is a modern, secure, and user-friendly authentication method designed to replace traditional passwords. Instead of relying on manually entered credentials, passkeys use cryptographic technology and are typically stored securely on your device.
- Passkeys are often linked to biometric data like fingerprint or face recognition, or a device PIN, making them both easy to use and highly secure. They eliminate the need to remember complex passwords and reduce the risk of phishing or password theft. When using a passkey, the authentication process ensures that only your device can access your account, making it a reliable and convenient way to log in to online applications and services.
How to Enable Passkey Login ?
- Navigate to the Login & Security section in your account settings.
- Click on enable passkey button.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your passkey.
- This may involve, Registering a biometric authentication method (e.g., Pin, fingerprint or facial recognition).
- Setting a secure PIN on your device.
- Once the setup is complete, your device will be registered for passkey login.
Note: Passkeys are only enabled for users who signed up manually. Users who signed up using Google or Facebook accounts cannot enable passkey login.
How to Disable Passkey Login ?
- Navigate to the Login & Security section in your account settings.
- click on Disable Passkey Login.
- You may be asked to verify your identity by entering your password or using another authentication method.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
- Once passkey login is disabled, you will revert to using your email and password for authentication.
