Customize how your AI-generated medical notes are structured and written
Overview
QureNote AI allows you to control how your clinical notes are generated using two key features:
- AI note format — defines the structure and layout of your notes (template-level)
- Writing voice — defines tone, phrasing, and style (account-level)
These settings help you create consistent, accurate, and personalized documentation across all encounters.
Where to find AI note format and writing voice?
Writing voice (account-wide settings)
- Go to Preferences → Notes Preferences
- Writing voice options appear at the top
- You can also access it from:
- The Writing voice icon in the notes toolbar
- The dedicated Writing voice page (e.g.,
/voice)
AI note format (template settings)
- Go to Notes Preferences
- Select a template
- Click Create or Update Template
- Locate AI note format (optional)

How are AI note format and writing voice different?
They work together, but they serve different purposes:
- AI note format
- Applies to one template

- Example: abbreviations, phrasing style
