Have a Question?
Reporting & Collaborating
Empowering Care Through Smart Imaging and Reporting.
What is Reporting & Collaboration in PACS?
Reporting in PACS allows physicians to create Preliminary or Final Reports for imaging studies. Reports follow structured fields such as Findings, Impressions, Recommendations, and Optional Comments, ensuring consistency and completeness in medical documentation.
Collaboration tools allow multiple physicians to add notes, view comments, and create addenda before finalizing a report.
How does it work?
- Select a study from the Patient List.
- Click Create Report.
- Choose the Report Type: Preliminary or Final.
- Enter information in the structured sections:
- Findings
- Impressions
- Recommendations
- Optional Comments
- Use the AI Assistant to auto-generate draft text.
- Save as a draft or finalize the report.
Can I create custom report styles?
Yes. PACS allows physicians to select report templates that match their workflow. Templates define the structure of the report sections and can be customized to reflect physician preferences or departmental standards.
How do I add multiple addenda?
- While a report is still unfinalized, physicians can add multiple addenda.
- Each addendum can include updated findings, clarifications, or peer comments.
- Addenda remain visible to collaborators until the report is finalized.
How does collaboration work?
- Physicians working on the same patient study can view, edit, and comment on reports.
- Notes added by collaborators are visible to all assigned users.
- Once finalized, the report becomes read-only for collaborators.
Can I edit or modify a report after it’s finalized?
No. Once a report is finalized, it is locked to preserve clinical integrity. If corrections are needed, a new addendum or corrected report must be created.
How does the AI Assistant help with reporting?
- Suggests draft text for Findings, Impressions, and Recommendations.
- Physicians can accept, edit, or replace AI-generated content.
- Supports voice typing for hands-free input.
Can reports be shared with patients or colleagues?
Yes. Reports can be:
- Shared via Email or SMS with a secure link (expires in 30 minutes).
- Downloaded as PDF or exported to other systems.
