Have a Question?
Reporting & Collaborating
Empowering Care Through Smart Imaging and Reporting.
What is Reporting & Collaboration in QNPACS?
Reporting in QNPACS allows Physicians/Scribes to create Preliminary Reports for imaging studies. Reports follow structured fields such as Findings, Impressions, Recommendations, and Optional Comments, ensuring consistency and completeness in medical documentation.
In an Organization multiple physicians can add notes, view comments, and create addenda before finalizing a report.
How does it work?
- Select a study from the Patient List.
- Click Create Report.
- Enter information in the structured sections:
- Findings
- Impressions
- Recommendations
- Comments(Optional)
- Use the AI Assistant to auto-generate draft Report with voice/text input.
- Save the report or finalize the report.
Can I create custom report styles?
Currently, custom report styles are not available.
Our team is actively working on introducing this feature in a future update. Once available, it will allow greater flexibility in formatting and styling reports to better match institutional preferences.
Please stay tuned for updates, or reach out to support if you need assistance with the existing report format in the meantime.
How do I add multiple addenda?
- Physicians can add multiple addenda only after a report has been finalized.
- Each addendum may include updated findings, clarifications, or peer comments.
- All addenda are permanently linked to the finalized report and remain visible to authorized users.
Note: While a report is in draft (unfinalized) status, physicians can edit the report content multiple times instead of adding addenda.
Can I edit or modify a report after it’s finalized?
No. Once a report is finalized, it is locked to preserve clinical integrity. If corrections are needed, a new addendum must be created.
How does the AI Assistant help with reporting?
- The AI Assistant helps streamline report creation by suggesting and rewriting draft text for Findings, Impressions, and Recommendations.
- Physicians/Scribe remain in full control and can accept, edit, or completely replace any AI-generated content.
- The assistant also supports voice typing, enabling hands-free dictation for faster and more efficient reporting.
Can reports be shared with patients or colleagues?
Yes. Reports can be shared in the following ways:
- Email with a secure access link.
- Downloaded as a PDF for offline use.
- Exported to other systems, depending on integration settings.
