Empowering Care Through Smart Imaging and Reporting.
OUR POLICY
Welcome to the PACS application (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information — including personally identifiable data (“Personal Data”) and patient imaging data — when you use our application and related services (the “Services”).
Our Services are designed for healthcare providers, enabling secure access, storage, viewing, and reporting of patient imaging studies.
INFORMATION
We may collect the following types of information:
- User Account Information: Name, email, phone number, specialty, role.
- Patient Study Data: Uploaded imaging studies (DICOM files), reports, and notes.
- Technical Data: Device type, browser, IP address, cookies, system logs.
- Usage Data: Interactions with features such as study viewing, report generation, or sharing.

USE OF INFORMATION
We use collected data to:
- Authenticate user access to the PACS system.
- Provide, maintain, and improve study management and reporting features.
- Enable collaboration between physicians.
- Send system updates, notifications, and support messages.
- Prevent unauthorized access, misuse, or fraudulent activity.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare data regulations.
We never sell your data.
Data Security & Compliance
- All imaging data and reports are encrypted in transit and at rest.
- We comply with HIPAA, HITECH, and other applicable healthcare data privacy regulations.
- PACS operates as a Business Associate when used in healthcare organizations, meaning Protected Health Information (PHI) is handled with the same safeguards required for providers.
Cookies & Logs
- We use cookies to simplify logins and track service performance.
- Logs include access timestamps, study actions, and user activity for compliance.
- This helps us with troubleshooting and auditing.
Sharing of Information
We may share information only when necessary:
- With authorized collaborators (e.g., physicians in your organization).
- With service providers (hosting, analytics, support vendors) under strict agreements.
- During legal obligations (e.g., compliance with subpoenas or regulatory requirements).
- In case of a business transfer (merger, acquisition).
We do not sell patient or physician information to third parties.
Retention of Data
- Personal Data and imaging studies are retained as long as required for patient care and compliance.
- Users may request account or study deletion, subject to organizational retention rules.
- Once deleted, access to studies and reports is permanently revoked.
Children’s Privacy
PACS is intended for healthcare professionals only. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Security Practices
We take strong measures to protect your data:
- Role-based access controls
- Secure logins (Passkey, 2FA)
- Audit trails for study access and edits
- Encrypted storage and transfers
However, no system is 100% secure. Users should avoid sending Protected Health Information via unencrypted email.
Updates to Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically.
- Continued use of PACS means you accept the updated policy.
- The latest version will always be available in the Support Center.
