Why is my browser or system not detecting the microphone?
- Go to your browser site settings and allow microphone access for PACS.
- Ensure your mic is connected (built-in or external).
- When prompted, always click Allow Microphone Access.
- Check your system sound/privacy settings to confirm apps can use the mic.
Why does my microphone cut in and out during voice dictation?
- Check your internet stability and speed.
- Reduce background noise and interference.
- Disable extensions (ad blockers, privacy tools) that may block mic access.
- For Bluetooth mics, ensure they are fully charged and paired properly.
Does dictation stop if I switch between browser tabs?
- No. Your dictation session continues in the background.
- However, keeping the PACS tab active is recommended for best performance.
