DICOM Viewer Troubleshooting

  1. Use a modern browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari). 
  2. Ensure a stable internet connection
  3. Clear cache & cookies, then reload. 
  4. Confirm you have study access permissions
  5. For shared links: check if the link expired (30-minute limit). 

  1. Large CT/MRI datasets may load slower. 
  2. Use a fast Wi-Fi or wired connection
  3. Close unused apps/tabs. 
  4. If available, enable compressed viewing mode

  1. Update to the latest browser version
  2. Disable conflicting extensions
  3. Confirm your role has tool permissions
  4. Refresh the study page or restart the session. 

  1. Ensure you are logged in (not using guest access). 
  2. Verify you have edit rights on the study. 
  3. Collaborating physicians must have been granted permissions
  4. If still failing, export annotations manually before exiting. 

  1. Check device CPU/RAM usage
  2. Restart the browser and PACS session. 
  3. On mobile, close other apps before viewing studies. 

  1. Ensure your user role allows download/export. 
  2. Check if the study owner enabled downloads
  3. For patient access links, downloads are usually disabled for privacy
