Why is the DICOM Viewer not loading my study?
- Use a modern browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari).
- Ensure a stable internet connection.
- Clear cache & cookies, then reload.
- Confirm you have study access permissions.
- For shared links: check if the link expired (30-minute limit).
Why are images taking too long to load?
- Large CT/MRI datasets may load slower.
- Use a fast Wi-Fi or wired connection.
- Close unused apps/tabs.
- If available, enable compressed viewing mode.
Why can’t I use zoom, measurement, or annotation tools?
- Update to the latest browser version.
- Disable conflicting extensions.
- Confirm your role has tool permissions.
- Refresh the study page or restart the session.
Why are my annotations not saving?
- Ensure you are logged in (not using guest access).
- Verify you have edit rights on the study.
- Collaborating physicians must have been granted permissions.
- If still failing, export annotations manually before exiting.
Why is the viewer freezing or unresponsive?
- Check device CPU/RAM usage.
- Restart the browser and PACS session.
- On mobile, close other apps before viewing studies.
Why can’t I download a study?
- Ensure your user role allows download/export.
- Check if the study owner enabled downloads.
- For patient access links, downloads are usually disabled for privacy.
